Bren Heaton, M.D. is a board certified general surgeon specializing in gallbladder disease/surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, simple and complicated hernia repair, as well as many other procedures.
Dr. Heaton's B.S. degree was obtained at the University of Utah. He went on to obtain his M.D. degree at Ross University School of Medicine. After graduating with high honors, Dr. Heaton went on to complete eight years of surgical training, graduating from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He brought his surgical expertise to Boise, Idaho, in 2013, and continues to hone his skills while caring for his patients in the Treasure Valley.
Dr. Heaton has offices in Nampa and Boise. He has surgical privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Boise and Surgery Center of Idaho. He will also have privileges at St. Luke's Regional Medical Centers in Boise and Meridian, and Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa.
When he isn't caring for his patients, Dr. Heaton enjoys fly fishing, golfing, cheering for the Milwaukee Brewers, and vacationing with his family. He currently lives in Eagle, Idaho, with his wife and family of 6 kids.
